1962: Market launch of the world’s first protection filter.
1968: Opening of a production works, with research and development centre, in Backnang.
1975: JUDO produces the world’s first flushable return protection filter.
1983: Production start of the world’s first DVGW-approved water-softening system.
1991: JUDO launches its first water treatment unit based on a physical process.
1992: Establishment of a branch in Strasbourg, France.
1994: Establishment of a branch in Hilden near Düsseldorf.
1996: First certification of the company in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
2003: With the world innovation of JU-WEL Amethyst, JUDO offers pure wellness through the medium of jewel-treated water. 2005: The 100.000th. (DVGW-tested) JUDO BIOQUELL softner rolls off the production line. 2005: Hartmut J. Dopslaff and Carsten H. Dopslaff (son and grandson of the company founder) take over the mutual running of the company.
2007: With the BIOSTAT-HY JUDO launches itself into the limescale protection and water hygiene era. Especially developed for commercial application, the DVGW-tested JUDO BIOSTAT 2050 - 2200 requires no change of cartridge and is laid out for a nominal flow rate of max. 20 m3/hr.
